There are many opportunities to help your Union coming up this year.  The Firefighters Ball is coming up this weekend--there are opportunities to help set up on Friday and Saturday as well as the tear down on Sunday.  Please let any Local 31 Executive board member know if you can help.  We continue to plan for this years WSCFF State convention which will be hosted by your own Local 31 here in Tacoma from 6/29-7/3.  We will need many hands to put on this great event and it will be a great opportunity for our members to see this annual event up close.  Please call the office or attend any of the Convention planning meetings to volunteer. A few short weeks after Convention, the 18th Annual Jimmy Cason memorial golf tournament will take place at Meadow Park golf course on 7/17.  Please let any Eboard member know if you are interested in helping with this great event.  We also have the new retaining wall going up at the hall--please give Chris Perry a call to sign up for a few hours if you are able. As always, there is a lot of fun to be had with all of these opportunities and we would greatly appreciate seeing some new faces come out and help!

Negotiations continue and we will keep you updated on the progress at our regular Union meetings--would be nice to see some new faces there too!
